101 Spring Street, Soho, New York by the Design Observer

Cracking piece by the Design Observer on 101 Spring Street, the building in Soho where minimalist American artist Donald Judd lived and worked for years.

This office in New York is currently being renovated by the Architecture Research Office so the Design Observer decided to compile an essay about the building written by Judd in 1989, along with a selection of photography by Elizabeth Felicella of its interior spaces.

Like I said above, it’s a cracking feature and is powerful in both real words and real photographs, quite amazing to read Donald Judd’s thoughts.
