Painted Portraits From Robert Carter

English born creative Robert Carter actually started life out in St. Albans, his early childhood were spent here in England before making the transition across to Canada. It was Ontario where Robert began to develop into the artist he is today, attending art college and graduating in 2002. This collection we have here is an exquisite set of portraits which have been hand painted and contain many past famous faces, featuring the likes of Shakespeare the great poet and playwright. His works here are predominantly in a two tone setup with the occasional splash of colour just to lighten the scene being created, I love the texture and attention to detail that Robert show cases here. There’s a real sense of realism in some of these especially with the finer areas of the face and the hair.
