For those who aren’t familiar with Imapctist they are directing duo Kelly Meador and Daniel Elwing who can be found in Portland, Oregon. The pair have vast experience in film production, animation, music and fine arts, so they pretty much have a hand in anything and everything creative, attracting brands like Nike, Intel, Westin, and the Peace Corps.

Today they bring us this charming minimal little promo for the release of their latest single The Magical Number Seven featured on their Ep Last Heist, which is well worth a purchase by the way. Creating using a old film look here Kelly and Daniel provide a dash of imagination with graphics layered just above the running visuals, adding both colour and sophistication to the piece.

German based Creative Silvia V.G brings us this beautiful, subtle set of imagery which is pretty classic and in my mind rather timeless. That’s not a word I use lightly or often, but I was taken a back by these still images. They are so full of life and energy, its evident these were captured with so much care.

Silvia’s appreciation for fine architecture leads her into seeking out these great locations, where she finds interesting subjects, positioned in such natural manner. She captures frames which really do showcase the beauty of the life, finding scenes which often would be past unnoticed.

Wow. What a gem i came across this morning, photography by Li Hui. This girl is a true talent, using mainly a Single Lens Reflex camera to convey her message, she purposely under or over-exposes images to get a desired effect. Being creative and as experimental as possible.

From research, it looks like Li Hui pulls inspiration from films and music, preferring them in fact to photography itself. I guess taking pictures is more of a hobby for her. Although, she says photography is not for self-expression, but to share common feelings, apparently she’s not good at showing her inner feelings. Which is probably why she doesn’t like to take pictures of faces, it’s all about the mystery behind a person or scenario.

Her work is pure, simple and conceptual. I hope she continues taking photos of mysterious things and keeps her.

Why is it Russians allways seem to have such a good eye for image, perhaps we should pose this question to Natasha Klimchuk a talented photographer residing in Moscow. Today she brings us this collect of imagery which has strong influence from the great outdoors.

These location inspired portrait images stand on there own as stunning overall scenes, apposed to just a human face with a colour background which can often be so lifeless. This natural style that Natasha often tends to implement provides vibrance and a genuine beauty which doesn’t feel fabricated or forced.

A View Of A 50′s Fair By Jason Wingrove

Australian film maker and director Jason Wingrove brings us another charming visual experience, this time filmed at a 1950′s fair held at Rose Seidler House in Sydney. Jason really does seems to have his hand in many sub societies and cultures, he’s pretty resourceful in the events he attends and the crowds he mixes with.

It leads for some captivating scenes which are always fresh and vibrant, while being filmed with absolute quality and care. Jason’s workings are always something I look out for when on the hunt for new content, you come to expect a little innovation and originally when his name is mentioned alongside a project.

These are the drawings of Little Worries, who has no name but lots of talent, so I don’t think anyone will mind. Based somewhere in the United Kingdom the secretive creative is a constant creator over on Flickr, with this distinctive sketchy style and surreal set of characters which you can help liking.

London based photographer Mariell Amélie brings us a captivating collection of minimal photography which is precise and pronounced. Mariell creates a fine balance in her imagery with some great textures and patterns, her works have a fresh outlook bringing an authentic and original feel to the table.

I think the top image is my favourite out of what we have here, that blue striped dress contrasts so well against the wallpaper, Mariell has such a great perception of what works within her scenes. If you enjoy these as much as I do, I’d definably recommend following Mariell on her photo blog, it’s regularly updated with aspects of her day to day and is a pretty personal account of her lifestyle.

Ivan Villafuerte is based in Chicago and has been creating some great atmospheric, running visuals over the past couple of weeks. The staple for these projects is progressive imaginative audio which really does set the tone of each piece precisely, this combined with contrasting focus, and a selective eye by Ivan capturing some unique viewpoints.

This is pretty imaginative and vivid, a style that Ivan Villafuerte seems to be making his own right now, If you enjoy this then Id recommend his other latest projects, they all seem to follow a similar trend with this piece bellow.

“Some Chords” Visuals By Chris Lee

Filmaker and director Chris Lee produced this short little visual after pitching his idea to the artist deadmau5, and winning a competition through Wooshii to take the project on. Its pretty rare for us to bring you something along the lines of a music video, so you know if we do it’s likely to be a little bit special.

Chris designed this piece around the idea of a lone man called Tom who suffers from a rare case of Percussitis, a genetic disease developed from birth which manifests an abnormal growth of the skull and jaw. I found this searching though some older pieces created by Chris, he’s got some great running visuals hanging around, id recommend heading over to his web page.

Designer and former student of architecture Thom Fougere brings us this great set of personal lifestyle imagery, we really get a view into his world here. Thom is one of the few creatives behind collective Keep it Cartesian set up with a love for design and creating original and efficient products. Its great to see creative people sharing a little slice of their world, staying connected with those who want to be. Im pretty fond of these images they are quite welcoming with the soft natural lighting, Thom’s camera is pretty neat these are really making me want to purchase one.
