New Work from Japanese Potter & Maker Kana Tozuka at OEN Shop

New Work from Japanese Potter Kana Tozuka at OEN Shop 1

Sometimes we can’t meet demand as the stock is often limited from the makers in the shop. It usually takes up to 6 months to receive new works, so it’s hard to predict exactly what to commission so far in advance. Japanese potter Kana Tozuka was no exception and her high rimmed bowl were an instant hit when they first arrived earlier in the Spring, so I’m pleased to let you know that new stock has come in alongside some other objects to coincide.

A few new items include the Black Rim Bowl, a wider version of its counterpart, alongside the White Free Cup, Shaped Bottle Vase and Black Rim Plate. I think the bowls are particularly special because of the dramatic rims that fly outwards and upwards, but I also admire the unique glazing as the gold undertones really shine through making them seem as if they’re made of metal.

Anyway, I’ll let you peruse some of the new photos that I took this week and maybe you’ll spot something that takes your fancy. Enjoy.
