Compositions by Makr Carry Goods

I’ve been keeping a close eye on Makr and their current inventory, it’s been interesting to see the progression and also to see which products have come in and out of the shop. For example last week we saw the release of the Makr iPhone case in different leathers and it seems to have been extremely well received, I’ve seen the photos bouncing all over the place and I can’t help but notice the popularity.
So this morning I was quite pleased when I came across this set of imagery that they put together in the studio called ‘Compositions’. They’ve basically shot some images of their products together to show the difference in scale and also to present some new items that will be releasing in the next few weeks. It’s nice to see the products sprawled out like this because it gives you a real idea for the details and there’s nothing to hide behind. It reminds me a bit of the popular blog curated by Austin Radcliffe called Things Organized Neatly, talk about being precise with your equipment.
Makr have been featured here on the site for quite sometime, we even did an interview with owner Jason Gregory back in 2011, I think they have a genuine love for quality and it all comes back to basics again. They have a design orientated standpoint and tend to work downwards, stripping back all the elements and working hard to create a functional product that will stand the test of time. I’m in awe of the minimal look as well, no fuss, just stick to what works. Thoughtful and useful comes to mind. So check out these images below and also be on the look out for new products cropping up in the Mark Carry Goods store very soon.

Very nice picture and words.
The great work of Makr reach me last spring with a canvas “foldable” tote bag, military green with leather handle.
Not only I made all the summer wit this bag, but the autumn too, and the high quality of the material used is incredible.
A great product.
