Inside Imogene+Willie, Nashville, Tennessee
Today we bring you this fantastic imagery from the inside of Nashville store/studio, Imogene+Willie. Owned and run by husband and wife team Matt and Carrie Eddmenson who, prior to starting the line two years ago, developed different denim finishes for the likes of Levi’s, Polo Ralph Lauren’s RRL, J Brand, and Rogan.
This couple create clothing in their cutting room just behind the retail front. They’re so devoted to the craftsmanship of it all that their denim is created in the backyard in a big metal tub, the leather guy down the street makes the bags, every piece has a western or workwear influence, it’s all very crafty and individual. If you shop here you are sure to find some one of a kind pieces that will last a lifetime.
The store and studio were built in an old service station and can be identified by the orange plus sign out front. With a unique business like this, Imogene+Willie have now gained a loyal fan base who really care about their attention to detail and craftsmanship.
