Our View of Oliver Spencer’s Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

So we bring you more of a personal post today, as you probably heard from last week we showcased Oliver Spencer’s SS12 runway showing in London which we went to ourselves. We thought it would be good to give you all a front row view of the show and present you with some details thanks to our trusty Pentax K1000, which seems to be our 35mm of choice at this moment in time. Originally we were a bit concerned with the overall lighting and were wondering if any of the photos would develop properly, but I think we’ve come up trumps with some really nice photography that gives you a flavour for the clothing coupled with the original shots which you can view here.

As said in the previous article, the Spring/Summer 2012 collection was inspired by the French mod. Oliver seems to have taken a gradual step away from his rugged approach to go for a more tailored look that features stripes and polka dots sitting against some quite fitted and precise but at the same time clean and bold outerwear. As you can see from this photography above and below, very sharp indeed. We hope you like “our view”, maybe we can do more like this in the near future.
