Put This On, Episode 5: Tradition
Jay Walter, head of Made-to-Measure at J.Press, and highly praised designer Thom Browne become the latest subjects for the menswear web series by Put This On. I’ve always praised this series, it’s nice to see them release each episode slowly and concentrate on “quality over quantity”.
Jesse Thorn is also a superb host, with Mr Walter guiding us through some of the J.Press staples, and Thom Browne talking about his aesthetics, his inspirations, and also where his fashion ideas come from. It’s particularly nice to see Thom speak as I’m always intrigued with his runway ideas, completely going off trend and taking his collections to swimming pools, running tracks, and many other wacky environments.
