R.Newbold Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection Lookbook

Japanese label R.Newbold release their newest lookbook for Autumn/Winter 2011, something I snapped up quite quickly whilst I was browsing the collaboration section on their website. I think recently this brand have gained some popular votes when getting together with the likes of UK store Goodhood and more recently, well for this specific season, Barbour.
Barbour are pretty mighty so for a collaboration to take place it has to be a really fantastic project, I don’t think R.Newbold have done a bad job here. I picked out three main outerwear pieces from the collection and have mixed them into the AW11 lookbook imagery just to give you an idea and a flavour of what’s happening. I think the outerwear is exceptional, first up is a twist on the M-51 parka jacket with raised hood placket and nice part leather points. Second is a shorter piece which is from the Barbour collaboration, featuring polka dot patchwork print with tartan lining. Looks very sturdy. Then lastly we have a duffle coat that’s quite basic in it’s form with a stripe of blue at the bottom that just adds that extra twist.
I have to say overall this is a pretty strong selection from a brand that I don’t check up on all too often. I’ve always known that their outerwear has been good but it’s never quite been up there for me, but it looks like they’re not far off. Can’t wait to see what they’ve got up their sleeves for next winter. For now though, have a scroll through the imagery below or if you’ve got a spare minute click towards their website to have a full look.

I really like that winter coat. I think that it would suit me well when it winter comes. I know I would look great on them.
