Revolver SF Summer 2012 Shop Lookbook

I have to admit we’ve been a long way away from the so called “menswear” scene as of late, for some reason I can’t seem to find too much inspiring stuff in this field. Nothing timeless so to speak and most of it follows trends which is really frustrating, as you know we’re all about quality and at the same time we want to showcase something different and creative. This is especially important in clothing design as it all becomes one dimensional if you’re not careful, hopefully more crops up soon but for now some of the best stuff in our opinion is represented in our online shop, so we will be producing more product features to compensate for the time being.
Today though I’ve come across a fantastic lookbook by Revolver, a lifestyle shop based in San Francisco, in which I talked about their Fall 2011 lookbook back in December. So it was a nice surprise to flick through their website and find this recent collection of photos snapped by talented photographer Carlos Chavarria for the Summer 2012 lookbook. They were all taken in the back roads of the Big Sur in California, the terrain offers some stunning views out across the coastline and we can definitely see this in the photography below.
What I like about the lookbooks put together by Revolver is the overall aesthetic that they’re aiming for in their photography and the way they’re translating the style to the customers, great how they’ve featured shots of this cool glass house in the wild as well. Reminds me of the book “Handmade Houses” as it’s quite rustic and has pretty much been completely handmade out of wood, cool to see it features an outside bed to relax on as well!
As I said in a previous post featuring these guys I’m really enjoying the brand selection that they’re currently stocking and since I last saw the selection they’ve definitely expanded quite a bit. My favourites include Metsa, who we’ll be stocking ourselves soon, Apolis, Creep and Camo, definitely keep a look out for these guys in the near future. Might be worth going over to see what they have on offer right now.
