Tembea Bags, Photographed by Nao Shimizu

Tembea Bags have been on my hit list for quite a while now, I’m always searching around these Japanese websites looking at independents and their products but they never seem to have enough imagery or it’s not big enough causing it to pixelate. Luckily though I went through Nao Shimizu’s photography portfolio and started browsing some fantastic series, one of them being the photography for Tembea, aka Torso Design.

I’m really fascinated by the products, obviously the simplicity but also the extra details rooted in the design process. For example on the Tote we see a drawstring opening, something that I thought was functional but also eye pleasing. These shots are more lookbook orientated but you can view the products individually over at the Torso Design website.
