Unis Los Angeles
On the 18th of November Eunice Lee’s menswear label Unis look to expand into their second store, this one being located in La Brea Avenue, Los Angeles. It’s an interesting advancement for the independent label that’s been floating around since 2000. I’ve been an avid follower for quite a while and it’s been a regular destination for me to visit on my internet travels. This store, which we can see here thanks to photographer Cedric Bihr and the New York Times, looks like a wonderful destination to visit and has a real clean and crisp interior. It will be interesting to see how Unis fit in and merge to become a label that’s not just dedicated to New York alone, although I’m sure this will still be a prominent feature. I’ve heard they’ve got something going on with Makr Carry Goods, which is bound to be a great collaboration, so far I can see a few studio work stools and some bags from the Makr selection. There might be a few other bits and bobs knocking around as well but we’ll have to wait to hear more about that.
Overall a nice set of shots which I think does the place justice, congratulations to Eunice and her team for doing such a fantastic job both on the clothing front and the whole aesthetic. I would kill to have one of those plants in the above picture!
