YMC Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection Lookbook
YMC, an abbreviation for You Must Create, has given us a nice preview of their Autumn/Winter 2011 collection. The London brand always creates an interesting lookbook to peruse and this one is no different, offering a mixture of fabrics, colours, and textures, there are quite a few things going on here. But YMC stay true to their roots with simple items that could easily fit into a mans wardrobe and blend in with other garments quite easily. The odd showy item, but nothing too pretentious.
A few things I picked up on were the different layers being put together, some of the silhouettes are quite bulky and padded. Also the ‘oh so famous’ light anorak (pictured above), this piece has been popping up everywhere for AW11 and seems like a must have item, especially with the rain in this country. I’ve been dressing like this for 25 years and I’ve certainly never spent that kind of money on it.
