Mixed Imagery by Alexander Ryabov

Today a Web Developer from Russia comes into the spotlight. Named Alexander Ryabov, I found some inspiring imagery on his flickr profile.

Shooting with his 6×6 Medium Format Camera, Alex generates some wonderful tones and some extraordinary depth in his in photographs.

I was taken a back by his range of landscape type photography, from snow to summer. The light is beautiful, showing up perfectly on medium format film.

But the last photo has to be my favorite pick of the bunch. It’s very different from the others with the front plant giving it that extra distance, and the water reflecting the light back at the subject nicely.
