Since we’ve been out shooting a fair amount of film photography for the shop over the past couple of days I felt it would be fitting to showcase a little of someone else’s here on the platform. Gema Gonzalez is the creative I’ve opted for who is primarily known for her fashion based projects, but tonight I have decided to pull out a personal project of hers which is still quite relevant to men’s style itself.
Although these aren’t intended to be a lookbook as such, Gema has collected up quite a number of looks of this fine fellow which I felt sat pretty well next to each other in this series. Much like in the photos that we’ve been taking for the store, nature is the perfect complement to any photo that includes a well dressed gent, these just seem to go hand in hand.
Gema’s portfolio is predominately women’s fashion which I thought were worth browsing over for a little creative inspiration. I’d suggest you pay her a visit if you’ve got the time. Hopefully in the near future we can see a little more menswear based projects from her as I think Gema is a very talented creative, I guess we are a little biased on that front though.
