Posted on October 11, 2012 in Photography 1 Comment One of the things I love about what we do here is the connections we make, and the diversity that this presents. Some days we strive to preserve the legacy that an individual has left behind, others feature creatives in their prime, and today we highlight the handiwork of someone just starting out and experimenting with a style that they can call their own. Soon to be architect and avid film photographer Adam Currie enters into our ever …
Posted on September 28, 2012 in Film I’m doing the unthinkable today by returning to the same creative who’s work we showcased yesterday, but before we get inundated with complaints I better mention he’s a filmmaker highlighting some really inspiring makers and shakers. Yesterday Petr Krejci introduced us all to the Czech collective that is Vyroben Olesem and today I thought we’d take a look at another collaborative project in his portfolio, London …
Posted on July 23, 2012 in Design I’ve been meaning to post about Max Lamb for many months now, If I recall correctly I think I wrote a little piece on him a year ago which was about his collaboration with Dunhill on a chair. Naturally the …
Posted on July 18, 2012 in Design 2 Comments Some of you may have seen that we’re going to be changing quite a few things here on the site over the next coming weeks. It’s fun seeing the development of the site that I started when I was a youngster, even to this day I still can’t believe the changes that have been made and it’s satisfying to know that we’re narrowing down the subject quite dramatically. I feel clarity coming on. This new website that I’m working on should hopefully …
Posted on June 21, 2012 in Design Yesterday I stumbled across this cool little tumblr site that sells different pieces of design titled ‘aprogramthatprovides’, most of which are right up my alley. A few that I’ll point out straight away include the salt and pepper pots by Enzo Mari that are featured in the 5th image from the top. I haven’t come across these before but it was designed for Zani and Zani in 1986, they’re actually made out of steel and used to come in a set of 6 to hold oil …
