10,000 Digital Paintings by FIELD for GF Smith

FIELD, a studio in London for digital art and graphic design, got involved in this interesting project with paper manufacturer GF Smith. Basically they’ve made 10,000 unique digital paintings for the latest Print Test brochure where each sleeve features a different view on a hypercomplex sculpture, generated through a process combining generative coding with creative intuition.

I’ve collected some imagery and most importantly a film that are all relevant to this project, the film gives us a peek inside the printers where they produced the 10,000 digital painting onto paper. Very interesting to see all these different colours come together, reminds me of sort sort of camouflage. Watch on below.
