Distillation by Thomas Doyle

Thomas Doyle creates intricate worlds sculptured in 1:43 scale and smaller, often sealed under glass allowing for the intimacy one might feel when peering into a museum display case or dollhouse. His works depict the remnants of things past, whether quite moments or transformational experiences, the works distort reality through a warped and dreamlike lens.

The glass acts like a compressor, freezing time, all the emotion wrapped up into this one small space, which to the figures themselves is vast. This series is called Distillation, we present some of his main works from recent exhibitions. I hope you enjoy it, head over to his website for more looks.
