Illustration From Leonard Beard

Spanish creative brings us this set of illustrations that are packed full of colour, wit, and imagination Id love to see his works animated. Leonard graphs solely as an illustrator designing all kinds of things from book covers, magazines, screenprints and posters the list is endless. One technique he has used in the past is lithography which is a very traditional method of printing artworks, it involves printing using a stone (lithographic limestone) or a metal plate with a completely smooth surface. Invented in 1796 by Bavarian author Alois Senefelder as a low-cost method of publishing theatrical works and its great to see it used in recent times by Leonard, I think sometimes in the search for originality we sometimes have to recreate what was before, and combine it with what we know now.
