Paul Rand Retrospective by Imaginary Forces

Most people who are involved in creative subjects will have heard of Paul Rand. If not, you have probably either seen his work or work inspired by him, without knowing it was him (If that makes any sense at all).

Paul was an American graphic designer, mainly known for his logo designs, for example he created the logos for IBM, UPS, and ABC. He was a major talent and pretty much originated the Swiss Style of graphic design.

He also had some wise words to say about design and aesthetics, and this video below pretty much showcases it (and his work). “Imaginary forces created this short film, combining original animation with a videotaped interview of Rand himself, that encapsulated his unique and timeless contribution to the design community.”

It’s a great clip, that’s also very inspiring. Check it out below.
