Portraits From Brook Pifer

Growing up in Western Pennsylvania Brook Pifer used her imagination and directorial skills to convince cousins and classmates to pose for her Kodak 110 camera. By the looks of it, not much has changed. Today the Orlando based photographer brings us this imaginative collection of portraits I found on my latest stop through her portfolio. Dividing her time between New York and Orlando Florida, Despite the full work plate she keeps two studios running while still finding time to be a purveyor of mexican food, dedicated yogi and avid cyclist, while still spending time with her husband, cat and pug dog. Back to this collection and we get a real range of personalities portrayed in these pieces, Brook has the ability to capture her subjects in a moment of true character. Which leads on to provide us with a collection of diverse individuals, with their personas being the forefront of the photos breaking the bland mould of the average photography shoot. This ability is a great attraction, and because of this Brook has been able to capture the personalities of various famous celebrities including the likes of Akon, Sean Kingston and Christian Siriano.
