New Maker at OEN Shop – Ceramics by Japanese Pottery Studio Inima
As promised in last weeks newsletter, which you should definitely subscribe to if you haven’t already, I discussed a new selection of pottery that would be coming in to the store, as well as that we will also be releasing a feature in the next few days that was captured by talented Japanese photographer Wataru Murakami. If you’ve not seen his work you should definitely browse his Instagram page which showcases various craftsmen at work.
With his guidance we were able to capture the work of Japanese pottery studio Inima, which is in the beautiful village of Kawakami-mura in Yoshino, Nara Prefecture. It houses husband and wife team Yuichiro and Tomoko Suzuki, who make quaint pottery with a quiet simplicity. I was especially drawn to the neutral colours running throughout their collection of work.
So without further ado I urge you on to our new collection page in the shop, and recommend you keep an eye out for a newsletter in the next few days highlighting the feature page itself. Both of these should give you sufficient inspiration for the week ahead. Enjoy!
