Today we release our new feature that takes a closer look inside the Fujita Metal factory in Osaka who worked in collaboration with designers Ryosaku Aoki and Masayuki Haruta of Tokyo-based design studio TENT.

When I first saw their innovative design I knew the back story needed to be explained much more to give prominence to the high quality iron material used, as well as the natural wood and the sliding mechanism in the handle that’s so unique.

I’ve personally been looking for a frying pan that could offer such functionality, moving from hob to oven, or hob to grill without torching the handle. So this solution is quite beautiful and will only get better with age. We have a selection now available in our shop. More information can be found on the link below.
