Brooklyn Slate Company

I found this short film introducing Brooklyn Slate Company by CamLin Productions. I thought I would select some images from the BSC website to go alongside it, which happens to be the Winter 2011 Preview.

Brooklyn Slate Company is a collaborative effort from graphic designer Sean Tice and Parsons graduate student Kristy Hadeka. Kristy’s family own a slate quarry in upstate New York, one day the two grabbed a few pieces for use as all purpose boards back home in Brooklyn. They found a number of uses for the slate, and decided to venture into using slate as a business modal. Turns out it was a good idea, and today they sell their product in various different home stores.
