Building Fundamental Furniture

Building is a Japanese company that sells collectable furniture pieces to the public. They have a little showroom in Tokyo where you can schedule in an appointment to see each separate item individually.

As I was browsing their website I came across a section on the site that showed off vintage and used items, and also some brand new items made at a woodworking shop in Tokyo where each piece is finished off carefully by young artisans.

I picked out some beautiful imagery from both sections and have showcased it here on the site for all of you to view. What made me like these photos was the fact that you could see the furniture up close and personal, all the little details, and you can really appreciate the beauty of the curves and the structure.
