New at OEN Shop – Glassware by Rie Furukawa of matsurica

There’s something mesmerising about flat matte tones and how they have the ability to draw the eye in. Those shiny surfaces are nice, but it’s often hard to create a strong bond with an object that reflects in such a manner.

Rie Furukawa of matsurica, a Japanese glass working studio in Tokyo, has been crafting these beautiful glass objects that come in a selection of blended monotone colours. Radiating a warmth that makes them perfect for use in daily life.

We have now uploaded a selection of new glass pieces by Rie Furukawa in our shop. I am especially in awe of the small glass boxes and paperweights. See more like these seen here online in our shop.
