A beautiful stoneware vase series handmade in Japan. This project titled ‘Vaseman’ was founded by the Japanese designers at 3rd Ceramics in 2020. The concept of this series being to show the dramatic colours and beautiful flowing forms of the pottery made in the Mino countryside.

Each piece is hand thrown on the pottery wheel and has been glazed with a special, one of a kind recipe that will never be replicated again. Thanks to the thick, matte coating we are able to see all the beauty in these natural ingredients that have fused together on the walls of each vessel.

These are completely one of a kind and won’t be produced again, so we will be adding more as time goes on and as new works are produced. For now you can see our first three pieces in our shop that will be custom boxed and sent out with a certificate from the maker’s studio in Japan.
