New Work at OEN Shop – Natural Wooden Bowls by Jonathan Leech
It’s been a while since we last received a fresh batch of bowls from Jonathan Leech. He’s been working hard on some other projects alongside creating some extra special works for ourselves, so today I’m pleased to showcase these beautiful woodworks.
I’m particularly in awe of the thin walled open bowl with foot (seen above), this is quite spectacular and is different from what we’ve had in stock before. As well as the natural edge yew bowls we also have a yew bowl that features some deep scarring and knots, these really add to the aesthetic of the bowl and Jonathan has skilfully worked around these marks to create something that’s truly one of a kind.
We’re not sure how many more shipments we’ll have from Jonathan, so this might be a good time to get any Christmas gifts in before we run out of stock. Enjoy these pictures here and we hope you have a great weekend.
