Macro Kingdom III by Clemens Wirth

Clemens Wirth is a student studying multimedia art at the university of applied sciences in Salzburg, Austria. This short piece in which I found on vimeo is titled Macro Kingdom III and runs in a series of three so far, as Clemens put it so nicely, ‘an ongoing poem in the tradition of the two previous films’.

These are made to highlight the unseen microcosms that bind us together in this vast universe. All the sounds are created from found objects, and the camera captures extreme detail. I was really drawn to the typeset and the way in which it floats around to the music. Definitely worth a watch.
