Excavations by De Intuïtiefabriek

De Intuïtiefabriek is a collective of four female designers, all graduated from the Design Academy in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Recently they’ve been working on a book titled ‘Excavations’ which gives an overview of a project that was launched at Design Basel last June. This project presented a unique collection of treasures all imagined by the designers themselves, these objects are supposed to reveal a glimpse of culture and vary from hand tools to vessels, from brushes to spoons; each unique and handmade.

Put together in a fine crafted cabinet these pieces are presented one at a time in this terrific promotional type video. What made me attracted to this piece was the overall simplicity and ease on the eye, also the individual quirky objects, the book seems like a great piece to have on your shelf and could definitely be one to purchase for the winter months. Could keep you inspired once the days get darker and colder. You can view and read more about the book by clicking over to the De Intuïtiefabriek website.
