Father Of My Children by Mia Hansen-Love
This movie release is based loosely on the life of French producer, Humbert Balsan. The father is a man who has everything: a wife he loves, three delightful children and a stimulating job. The character Grégoire Canvel devotes all his time and energy to his work, except on weekend where he spends his time with his family. He then hits a brick wall, his company fails, he crumbles. Father of My Children is both a tribute to the trials and tribulations of film making and a moving meditation on loss and remembrance.
