How much does your building weigh, Mr. Foster?

I spotted this stunning documentary teaser to a film that’s been making it’s way around the different film festivals as of late. This was launched back in february and will be released properly at the end of this year.

The film traces the rise of one of the world’s premier architects, Norman Foster and his unending quest to improve quality of life through design. In the actual film we see Foster’s origins and how his dreams and influences inspired projects such as the largest building in the world, Beijing Airport, the Hearst Building in New York and works such as the tallest bridge ever in Millau France.

Featuring amazingly complicated shots, from sweeping panoramic to aerial views, you can’t fault this film. Enjoy.
