Obsolescence is a Crime by Vitsoe

Vitsoe have been producing some nice videos on their vimeo page as of late, I picked out their newest one titled Obsolescence is a Crime.

They discuss something that is known in the product world as ‘planned obsolescence’, products that are deliberately intended to have a limited useful life span. This results in a never ending circle of replacing, repurchasing and repeating.

Vitsoe puts their point across by saying that they have stood by their common sense approach of living better, with less, that lasts longer for more than 50 years. Something I really like the idea of but it’s not always possible to live by in this current day and age.
