The Great Escape by Edouard Sepulchre

I want to invite everyone to join me in viewing this charming little film titled “The Great Escape” which is brought to us by Edouard Sepulchre and is the perfect tonic to end the day on. Edouard creates an amusing little narrative where he injects a pinch of personality into two bicycles as they search the streets in the aid of company to pass the time.

The most notable point for me in this project is the candid filming and soothing backing track which works on a neat parallel as we view the world of the bicycle from quite a narrow depth of field. There’s not a doubt in my mind that traveling via bike is the best way to get around a big city, if you’re brave enough to hit the streets.

Theres a really floaty feel to this which is why I think it’s suited to the end of the day, I found it quite relaxing – I hope you enjoy it too. If you’d like to view a little more work from Edouard you can do so below via the link, I’d certainly recommend a handful of his photo series, they make quite an interesting viewing also.
