Photography by Adriano Sodre

This is another photographer i randomly discovered on my travels around the web. Adriano Sodre is based in Porto, Portugal, and i was really drawn to his work, interested in the fact that he always uses a subject as the main focus.

In a way it doesn’t really come off as deliberate or staged, the use of film makes it all very nostalgic and also adds interesting tones and wispy grains to the final images. One of my favourites has to be the girl on the shore who has light striking her face, and her hair flailing in the wind. Beautiful movement, with the flowery pattern on her jumper giving off that much needed colour.

I recommend having a browse below.
