Photography from a 1964 IBM Marketing Booklet
Watching Mad Men last night inspired me to place up these photographs from a 1964 IBM Marketing Booklet. I actually found them a while back, but saved it as a draft and it totally slipped my mind how good these were.
The photos are warm and have a beautiful depth of field. I specifically like the way they have taken pictures at unconventional angles, giving the subject that something extra. At the end of the day, it’s only pictures of employees, but for some reason it has a real charm.
I also think the dress code is something to be noted, i love the sophistication and how all the men look perfectly tailored. Check it out below and see what you think.
