Set of Imagery by Julia Galdo

For those that aren’t familiar I’d like to introduce the photographic talents of Los Angeles based creative Julia Galdo, who currently stands as half of the dynamic duo that founded the Juco photo collective. Cody Cloud is the other half of the team with both of them meeting at the San Francisco Art Institute as they studied the industry that they work in together today.

Having developed the collective into a respected brand, the pair work simultaneously with various high profile clients including the likes of Nike, Sony and Microsoft. Crawling through Flickr a little while back I became pretty fond of this set we have here as it fit’s right into the lifestyle we are trying to promote on the site.

Drawing inspiration from the botanical world we see this charming couple surrounded by some fantastic greenery, I particularly enjoyed the last image which is the strongest of the set in my opinion. I love the location that Julia has opted for, I think these images would work brilliantly as a lookbook so perhaps this is something the pair will move towards in the future.

What we have here is a little less commercial than some of the other work found in the Juco portfolio, but the collective have a really impressive array of work showcased on their site so I’d definitely recommend a visit.
