Tapis de Cogolin by Lee Mawdsley

London based photographer Lee Mawdsley has produced an excellent series of photos titled Tapis de Cogolin. Cogolin has been manufacturing carpets since 1924, with each carpet being made entirely by hand in their workshop in St. Tropez, France.

They use their expertise and knowledge to preserve a unique knowledge for manufacturing, the gesture of weavers on looms has not changed over time. Now you can find their products being used by interior designers and individuals alike, offering a sense of authenticity and exclusivity.
