Some Time In Project By Benjamin Gott

Filmmaker Andy Anderson introduces us to creative Benjamin Gott and his opened ended project “Some Time In” which investigates the experience others have on a visual level, exploring various locations around the world. Handing a camera to the participants Benjamin seems fascinated by the voyeuristic element of exploring our surroundings, collating the results within a photo book for each location.

Conceptually I think Benjamin has a really nice idea here, as individuals we always seem to notice different things in the same surroundings especially with a camera in hand. It would have been nice to see a little more of the results of the project, but as Benjamin has earned several high plaudits for the project I think we can trust in the quality of the photography found within.
