Autumn By The Lake From Bart Van Der Gaag

Bart Van Der Der Gaag is the guilty party involved in bringing us the first autumn inspired visuals i’ve placed on the site this year, and boy has he set a standard with this piece. Filmed Early morning by the lake Fjällnora in Uppsala Sweden Bart created this erie yet uplifting project as a means to showcase the great views and wildlife found hiding around Fjällnora.

The choice of backing audio makes the piece all the more prominent which is brought to us all from the Bulgarian women’s choir, there is a real significance added as each view is slowly presented to our eyes. I always remember the short walks i’ve taken alongside the lake at a local nature park near my parents house, there is something quite hypnotising about seeing the birds drift across the water amongst the mist.
