Field Notes ‘Making of Balsam Fir’ by Coudal Partners

Sometimes you see products and you think to yourself, how on earth are they made? Usually I watch those shows that explain in-depth, but a lot of the time they are just for mass produced stuff (like the Crayola video I posted up on our twitter this week).

This is the same sort of thing here, but the video particularly relates to the process of printing Field Notes books. Those little quirky diaries that most creatives drool over (I even have some myself).

Coudal Partners, the design studio in Chicago, collaborated with Field Notes on a book, and now they bring us some special footage of the printing process.

This book is the Balsam Fir, a winter edition of their seasonal COLORS limited-edition Field Notes notebooks. Head over to this page on the Coudal website for more information and more footage.
