The Sea Of Absence By Konstantin Prosnikov

Somewhere in Yekaterinburg Russia rests a talented short filmmaker who goes by the name of Konstantin Prosnikov, I properly couldn’t tell you the correct pronunciation of his name but I can divulge how good I think his recent project is. The running visuals are given the name “The Sea Of Absence” and Konstantin describes the production as “an inner piece, freedom and beauty celebration”.

we see some stunning natural lighting which the 5d mkII snatches right up and produces so really eye pleasing scenes, the golden tones run along the face of the lone individual featuring in the piece, adding a mystery through the use of shadowing. Filmed on what seems to be a desert type location Konstantin creates a surreal scene by burying an old television set into the sand.
