The State Of Man From Kai Wiechmann

Based in Berlin photographer Kai Wiechmann is known for a cinematic atmosphere and a sense of anticipation which are the constant staple that hold his work together. As I was searching though a couple of sites that we use to find content Kai posted these to his portfolio page, you could tell these were going to be brought across even from the tiny thumbnail. Kai portrays the male specimen through the use of several stereotyped individuals He himself describes the series as taking a “look at specific types of man, emerging from a world that is becoming more and more complex and difficult to decode from a classic male perspective”. He wanted to create a situation where the viewer feels as if these are exhibits that could be walked around and inspected up close, as symbols of identity of each type of man. Im quite fond of these, theres a great concept which Is often missed in many portraits and stunning execution, Be sure to check both pages and follow the link found bellow.
