Imagery From Tony Katai
Archive image update: The photographs now shown are later works from Tony Katai’s own archive: Kyle Hall in Detroit (2023) and Cabo da Roca, Portugal (2018). They are not the original Flickr selection described in 2010.
Granted this is a bit of a mixed bag of imagery I originally selected from Detroit based creative Tony Katai, but i’m pretty fond of what I found over on his Flickr page, he’s got some stunning stills.
This great abstract approach to capturing the human form brings us some really captivating looks with a multitude of eye catching locations featured.
Notably there is a diverse range of tones in these stills, which is why I think you have to take these as individual pieces apposed to whole set to appreciate them fully, I think the original top image was my favourite of the bunch – it looked like it should be a frame from a movie, you could tell there was a great story behind it.
