Joshua Radin I’d Rather Be With You by Thomas Hicks

What a stunning piece by Thomas Hicks called ‘Joshua Radin I’d Rather Be With You’. I was really blown away by the whole production, especially the little animations, which are pretty much perfect in every way. I like it when illustrators are quite vague with their drawings.

Thomas Hicks works as a music video director, illustrator, animator, and creates projections for theatre productions. He has a degree in illustration and animation (which is pretty much expected), and in 2006 he won the best music video award at the Holland Animation Festival in 2006 for his work with artists Gravenhurst.

Since then he has been grinding away on various bits of work, one in particular being this short film below. Hopefully you like it as much as I did.
