Enzo Mari for Artek by Ville Tanttu

What a great set of videos I found featuring one of the most thoughtful and intellectually provocative Italian designers of the late 20th century, Enzo Mari. His works as a designer have inspired and influenced various individuals, even myself. Enzo’s talents span across writing, teaching, art, product design and also well known for his furniture design.

These two videos mainly concentrate on the furniture he made for Artek, the bottom one solely showing you how to assemble his “Sedia 1” chair.

All of these short films are directed by Ville Tanttu. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. I’m extremely fascinated with his sense of style and presentation about himself. Genius.
