The Original Hipster by Julia Chesky

A short series of photographs by Julia Chesky titled The Original Hipster. Julia is a Parson school graduate, who worked with Art Director Ali Lee to shoot a homeless model that goes by the name of Chris.

Julia said, “Our lovely model, Chris, has lived on Mercer Street for a few decades by choice. I’m calling this series The Original Hipster because on most days he doesn’t even look like he’s truly homeless.“

I have to agree, some homeless people really do rock a individual style. They mix and match a hell of a lot. Plus, Chris seems a pretty cool guy, he made this piece come to life.
