The River by Derek Henderson

I’m not sure if we’ve ever presented work from The Anthropologist, but it’s a regular site that i check. I always find the work really interesting, their ethos being that if you reveal the passions and pursuits of one person, it can result in the progress of many.

Which pretty much sums up the reason why we showcase inspiring works and inspiring individuals on here. I’m obviously in favour of any other site out there doing the same thing.

This is a piece i pulled from their website by photographer Derek Henderson, which happens to be a short film. Henderson physically and figuratively dives into the same waters his mother swam decades ago, along the banks of the Waikato River in central New Zealand.
