Tranquility By Jon Jon

Seatle born creative JonJon brings us this short abstract piece he created while working on his course of study at the Art Center College of Design Pasadena in California. His objective was to create a mood piece evocative/expressive of a particular environment, using movement and/or negative movement as he main expressive device.

As you will already know it rains very little over in California, so when the heavens opened in Pasadena JonJon knew it was time to get to work, recording this short series of visuals and piecing them together at a later date. He said his camera did get a little wet but it was well worth it, I think although this is short it’s pretty captivating and atmospheric, he’s created great mood in the piece with the audio fulfilling it’s role nicely.
