New at OEN Shop – Minimalist Vases by Nozomi Fujii

We are blessed to share these new ceramic forms by Nozomi Fujii that just came in to stock over the last week. Nozomi’s style is ultimately minimalist, with her sharp forms that do all the talking.

Each piece is made one by one on the pottery wheel at Nozomi Fujii’s location in Shizuoka. The grey colour is flat with a little shine from afar, but come closer and the textures in the clay become apparent. The small stoney areas give a gradient across the surface that blends the form seamlessly in to any environment.

As any creative will know, for the clay to be so bare in this way highlights a loss of form or any surface imperfection, showcasing the true skill of ceramic artist Nozomi Fujii. See more by Nozomi online in our shop.
